❤️ Sinus — Kevin’s Korean BBQ-Style Beef Review 🩺

🩺H = Health Check)

Today’s patient: Kevin’s Korean BBQ-Style Beef.

📋 Chart notes:

  • Certified gluten free

  • Soy free

  • Certified Paleo

  • 100% grass-fed top sirloin, no antibiotics 🐄

Now, here’s what matters to me personally → gluten free + dairy free = safe to eat. Everything else might be a big deal for other folks (and that’s great), but I’m mostly here to make sure my tummy stays drama-free.

Nutrition vitals per serving:

  • 150 calories

  • 20g protein 💪

  • 7g carbs

  • 10% iron + potassium

  • Tiny 2% calcium

  • Bonus points: contains onion (anti-inflammatory) + shiitake mushrooms (immune boost + antioxidant defense + cholesterol helper).

I paired mine with jasmine rice 🍚 + broccoli 🥦 + a strawberry/blueberry/banana smoothie 🍓🫐🍌 (pro tip: freeze super ripe bananas so they’re ready for smoothie duty anytime).

🍳 E = Exam (Prep + Eating Experience)

Treatment plan: skillet method → heat oil, add beef. ✅

My plate followed MyPlate (sort of):

  • ½ fruits/veggies (broccoli + smoothie) 🥦🍓

  • ¼ protein (this beef) 🥩

  • ¼ carbs (rice) 🍚

Flavor notes:

  • Sauce = 👌 sweet + gingery + garlicky

  • Beef texture = could’ve been softer (note to self: simmer longer next time)

Real talk: serving size claims 3 servings. Reality: my husband and I demolished the whole pack. If my college boy + daughter were home, I’d need two packs minimum. 🏥 Diagnosis: “Serving Size Underestimation Syndrome.”

💸 A = Accessibility (Cost + Access)

  • Price: $12.99 at Jewel (New Lenox, IL). Also spotted at Mariano’s.

  • Insurance coverage? Nope. But sometimes it goes BOGO → that’s when I stock up.

❤️ R = Rhythm Rating (Final Verdict)

Verdict: SINUS RHYTHM ❤️

  • Flavor = yes.

  • Quick & easy = yes.

  • Messy oil splatter burn on my arm = not so yes. (Pro tip: drain liquid better before cooking or lower oil temp. Next time I’ll know!)

⏱️ T = Tell Others (Would I Buy Again?)

✅ Yes — especially on sale.
✅ Pair with rice + veggies for a balanced plate.
✅ Keep one in the freezer for those “feed me fast” nights.

It is pricey, but you’re paying for convenience. And remember: FED IS BEST.
