π Food Review with the H.E.A.R.T. Exam: Good! Snacks Lemon Protein Bar
π©Ί H = Health Check
Letβs check those vitals! This little bar boasts 15g of protein (π respectable), is certified gluten-free & vegan, and soy-free too. On the back label: 230 calories, 9g fat, 190mg sodium, 28g carbs, and even a smidge of iron (6% daily value). π
β οΈ Allergy note: itβs processed in a facility with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, fish, wheat, and sesame. But per FDA rules, βcertified gluten freeβ means it passed testing. Diagnosis? I ate it and lived to tell the taleβno symptoms here.
π E = Eating Experience
First bite = lemon zing! π The bar has a sweet coating (like icing) where the lemon flavor lives. The inside is soft, made with fava bean + brown rice protein, but honestly, I couldnβt taste either. No chalky aftertaste (praise be π). Only downside? If your hands are warm, that icing might stick like medical tape to your fingers.

Found mine at Jewel-Osco for $2.99. Protein bar prices are all over the board, and gluten-free certification means extra testing = extra $$ (thanks science). Still, for under $3, not too shabby.

Solid sinus rhythm β
Not my all-time favorite, but tasty enough that Iβd eat it again.

Already texted my mom (she loves lemon π). I also grabbed the birthday cake flavor for a future review. Stay tuned!
