🩺 HEART Food Review: Today’s “patient”: O’Doughs Thins Vegan Bagel(AKA: The bagel that made me do a little kitchen happy dance.)
✨ A gluten free, dairy free, nurse practitioner mom’s playful snack check-up!
👩⚕️ Disclaimer: This is just my personal tastebuds talking—not medical advice. I bought this myself (no sponsorships here!). Always check with your own healthcare provider for what works for you.
H = Health
 Certified gluten free and vegan. For two bagel thins: 200 calories, 4g fiber, 4g protein, plus a smidge of calcium and iron. Light on guilt, heavy on joy.
E = Eating
 SO. SOFT. I didn’t even toast mine—just thawed from the freezer, microwaved for under a minute, and stuffed with chicken for the most satisfying sandwich. The label says “best toasted,” but my taste buds said “this is fine.” My husband liked his too, though he insists it should be toasted next time (he’s a little bit of a food snob).
A = Accessibility
 So far, I’ve only spotted these at Mariano’s. Price was $4.99 for six thins—not bad, especially compared to $9 gluten/dairy free bagels I’ve seen. Granted, these are thin, not full-size bagels, so that helps keep the price down.
R = Rhythm Rating
 A sinus rhythm—solid, dependable, and likely to make future appearances in my freezer.
T = Tell Others
 My mom would love these—though she’d probably toast hers and slather on cream cheese. I’ve got some vegan cream cheese waiting in my fridge, so that’s happening soon. 😊
Stay snack-safe, happy, and healthy 🥤💛
